Potential security vulnerabilities in Lotus Notes & Domino

TippingPoint Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) contacted IBM Lotus to report eight potential buffer overflow vulnerabilities in Lotus Notes and Domino; for four of which IBM Lotus has fixes, one of which IBM Lotus continues to investigate a fix, and three of which IBM Lotus cannot reproduce and is pursuing additional information.

Notes/Domino 8.5.2 now available

Release 8.5.2 of Notes/Domino has hit all the usual IBM download channels. There's some interesting stuff in this release, including the much talked about XPages extensibility API which promises to dramatically increase the number of quality third party controls available for use with the XPages platform, as well as many bug fixes and some performance improvements.
